Tonya Veasey is one of those “dynamo” folks for whom you find yourself wondering, “How does she do all that?”

  • Founded her own PR company in 2005 and has grown it into an award-winning agency with an impressive client roster? Check.
  • Went back to school to earn an Executive MBA from Texas Christian University, while running a business full time? Check.
  • Active in her community, including serving on the Board of Directors of the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce, Board of Advisors at the TCU Neely School of Business Entrepreneurship Center and Board of Trustees at Baylor All Saints Hospital. Check.
  • Wife and mother? Check. Check.

Before founding OCG PR, Tonya spent more than 10 years in the public affairs industry, working for a state senator, a large nonprofit organization and a Fortune 500 company. As president of OCG PR, Tonya focuses on business development, and developing a top-notch team to serve the company’s growing client roster. Tonya continues to provide consulting and strategic advice to OCG PR’s clients across a broad range of industries.

Tonya has been repeatedly recognized for her leadership in the business world as well as the community. She’s the recipient of the 2010 Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce “Quest for Success” award and under her leadership, OCG PR received the 2014 LUNA Public Service Agency of the Year Award. Tonya was recognized by the Dallas Business Journal as a top minority business leader in the region and was named one of “20 Women to Watch in Business.”

When she’s not working or volunteering in the community, Tonya tries to keep up with her energetic son, Adam. Tonya is also an unpaid food critic, and will be glad to provide you with lots of ideas on where to have a power lunch or a nice dinner in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.
